Tbilisi is Expanding – Tbilisi Acres Launches Campaign for First Self-Sufficient Neighborhood

New billboards have appeared across the city with the message “Tbilisi is Expanding,” marking the official launch of Tbilisi Acres — an innovative new development and the city’s first self-sufficient neighborhood.

 

The primary message of the campaign highlights the project’s commitment to directing urban growth toward a healthy and sustainable future. This vision is brought to life through meticulous urban planning and fully integrated functionalities, ensuring a balanced and efficient distribution of essential city services.

 

Tbilisi Acres is strategically located not within the city’s already densely populated areas, but in an entirely new location along the road to Nafetvrebi — ideally positioned between the central districts of Vake and Saburtalo.
 

The first self-sufficient neighborhood includes all the amenities and services typically found in central urban areas, effectively decentralizing key city functions and reducing the need for residents to commute to other parts of Tbilisi.

 

To further enhance connectivity, a new road will be constructed to directly link the neighborhood with existing city infrastructure, ensuring smoother integration and improved accessibility.
